India Underdog at Asian Cup

India begins the 2011 AFC Asian Cup needing some sort of miracle, as it enters the tournament with the longest odds of any of the 16 competing nations.

Tough Draw

After qualifying for the tournament for the first time in 24 years, India was drawn with "the group of death" against two of the three-pre tournament favorites - South Korea and Australia - as well as Bahrain, which came close to qualifying for the last World Cup.

India's campaign kicked off with its clash against Australia at Doha's Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Monday, alosing 0-4. The tournament will officially finish with the final, to be played on January 29.
